Last Friday, August 21, 2015, Consequence stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about his new album, “A Good Comeback Story” releasing the first week of October. However, what was most interesting about his interview was him talking about the hip hop culture and the music business. In this interview, Consequence explains the difference between what’s considered a part of the hip hop culture and what’s necessary for the music business. He also talks about being a songwriter for Kanye West during Kanye’s earlier albums and the perception of ghost writers in hip hop. It’s easy to see that Consequence is very knowledgeable about not only the history of hip hop, but the ins and outs of the music industry. Not to mention, his son is adorable.
